The language we use influences and shapes the perception of the work we do as a sector.
Many organisations and communities feel the terms ‘targeted’ and ‘intervention’ are not strength-based and do not represent the work of the TEI and FCS services.
Minister Kate Washington has agreed to consider a name change.
The TEI & FCS Peak organisations of AbSec, LCSA, Fams and Youth Action are joining together to workshop a new name for the program with you.
The session will be hosted online using zoom on Wednesday, 8th May 2024 (1:00 PM - 2:30 PM).
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive name change that reflects the incredible work of the sector.
